Recruiting: Administrator, Farming in Protected Landscapes

The Administrator will lead the administration of the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme for the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership team.

This is a fixed and part time role (22.2 hours per week) until 31st March 2025.

Between July 2021 and March 2025 the AONB Partnership is offering grants through this programme to farmers and landowners for projects which deliver benefits to nature, climate, people and place. 

Farming in Protected Landscapes is funded by Defra and is running in all of the English National Parks and AONBs.  

In collaboration with other team members, the Administrator will lead on day to day financial administration of the programme within Defra’s programme framework and guidance and Shropshire Council’s financial systems and procedures. They will also maintain administrative records, lead on monthly monitoring returns to Defra and support the processing of grant claims from applicants.
