Have your say on the future of the landscape of the Marches

The landscape in the heart of the Marches between Shropshire, Herefordshire, Radnorshire and Montgomeryshire is iconic and loved by both those who call it home and the many visitors it attracts.

Wilder Marches would like to investigate if, together, we can bring about a ‘Wilder’ Marches where people and nature can thrive alongside one another. Where nature rebounds and new economic opportunities and jobs are created and where communities can grow and expand to support their rural economy whilst ensuring space for nature.

Help shape what this could look like!
We are holding a number of consultation and feedback sessions to hear from you and understand what you would you like to see in this landscape. What opportunities we can grasp and what threats we need to manage and mitigate. We would like your views on how a landscape-wide partnership of farmers, land managers, organisations and communities can work for the Marches and what project ideas you feel should be considered and included.

No need to book, just come along…
There is no need to book and refreshments will be available. The event will start with a short presentation which is repeated at the start of the second hour so you can decide what time is most suitable for you to arrive and you don’t need to stay for the whole 2 hours.

The rest of the session we hope you will use to give your feedback, discuss ideas and share any concerns. We plan to capture your views in writing at the event, but further information and feedback forms that can be filled out later and sent back to us, will also be available. These forms can also be emailed to you. For further details and to request a form email contactus@wildermarches.org.uk

Event starts at 10:00am.
