Public meeting about the Stepping Stones project

The project aims to create stepping stones and corridors for wildlife.

By creating and linking wildlife-friendly spaces we will maintain the special wildlife of the Shropshire Hills.  In practice, this means linking areas of heathland, flower-rich grasslands and broadleaved woodland by a network of wildlife-rich hedgerows, road verges, hillsides and streamside wetlands.

Please join us at our final public meeting to:

  • Find out about the project, plans and opportunities
  • Hear guest speaker, Peter Carty from National Trust, talk about habitats & wildlife of the Stepping Stones area and the importance of the project
  • Meet local community groups and hear what they are doing to benefit habitats and wildlife and the potential activities you might like to get involved with
  • Tell us your main areas of interest and thoughts on our plans

The meeting is free and everyone is welcome. Booking not essential but helpful to know numbers.
