Our Common Cause: Long Mynd Project Launch

Join the Our Common Cause: Our Upland Commons project, together with the National Trust, to find out how, over the next three years and with your help, we will be looking to better understand, investigate and document three Historic Landscape sites on the Long Mynd: Pole Cottage, Bodbury Ring and Novers Hill.

This first evening we would like you to bring your memories, pictures and memorabilia connected with the Pole Cottage site.

After a short presentation from Janine Young and Viviana Caroli, Archaeologists with the National Trust, we will discuss the many opportunities (and dates which include weekdays and weekends) to get involved in this exciting programme starting this Autumn. It is for all ages and abilities, from general research, to interpreting lidar and geophysics, to gaining hands on skills of archaeological clearance, excavation, and conservation.
