Half term activity sessions
3 Forest School sessions aimed at children aged 6-11 years. The session are being held in asemi-ancient woodland near Bucknell, which is a Forest School site. Children will be encouraged to explore the natural environment, develop their sense of curiosity and foster new friendships.
Examples of activities will include:
- Group games
- Green woodworking to develop tool skills
- Fire skills
- Campfire cooking (freshly cooked snack will be provided every day)
- Den/Shelter building
- Natural crafts
As well as having these optional arranged activities, the children will be free to roam and explore our woodland site and are encouraged to have lots of self-directed free-play.
