Veteran Trees
Veteran Trees are the old trees we admire in our woodland and parkland, the gnarled oaks in the hedgerows and the willows alongside our rivers. Here in the Shropshire Hills we are fortunate to have some of Britain's most renowned examples.
The project aims to raise awareness and promote the value of veteran trees. Grant aid and advice is available for the people of the Shropshire Hills to celebrate and care for these wonderful trees.
