The Future of Commons post Brexit, 16th October, Craven Arms
A free event aimed at common owners, commoners and other interested parties to find out what Brexit means for your common/farm.
Julia Aglionby, Executive Director of the Foundation for Common Land & Chair of the Uplands Alliance, will be speaking and taking questions about the impact of the Agricultural Bill, transitional payments, future schemes and business planning.
Julia will also cover the governance, management and commons proofing of Commoners Associations, so the event is a must for all chairs, secretaries and members of commons associations.
Catherine Landles, Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership, will give a short presentation on the new commons project ‘Our Common Cause: Our Upland Commons’ in the Shropshire Hills.
The event is being held at the Craven Arms Community Centre (SY7 9PS), on Tuesday 16th October, 7pm for 7.15pm start.
