Augmented Reality Presentation

A 30ft leaf suspended over the Stiperstones?

Join Sean Vicary and Steve Knight at the Bog Visitor Centre on 13th June 2012, 7pm to discuss the interpretation opportunities presented by Augumented Reality. Sean and Steve will present their current work using augumented reality – Lament interweaves objects found in the landscape, animation, poetry and music to explore a personal narrative of loss, longing and belonging to the Welsh borderlands.

The evening will include a walk up to Cranberry Rock (weather permitting) to look at a 30ft leaf suspended over the rock! Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing.

We will discuss how augmented reality might be used to interpret some of the heritage themes of the Landscape Partnership Scheme as well as some of the wider access and interpretation projects being proposed for the Scheme.

Refreshments will be provided.
